System Engineer

Duties:

Build/lead ACDC control IC development and DCDC activities.
Define new digital controller architecture and power supply topology to meet specific market requirements.
Use analytical techniques to calculate transformer, component values and controller switching requirements.
Design, develop, evaluate and characterize ICs and power supplies based on iWatt technology.
Board level design and debug.
Documentation and reports.

Requirements:

MSEE with 10+ years or PhD with 3+ years as Power Management IC Applications Engineer or Power Supply Design Engineer
Demonstrated experience with a wide range of ACDC or DCDC switched mode power supplies
Team Lead experience required
Experience with PCB design and layout
Experience with magnetic design and optimization, safety and EMI compliance guidelines
Experience with simulation tools such as Spice/PSIM/Saber
Knowledge of digital control techniques and control systems
Good experimental technique and hands-on attitude
Strong written and verbal communication skills
